This is an email to invite you to pray for healing for Shannon Fontenot. As most of you know, his cancer returned within a month after his 12 rounds of chemo were complete. It has spread to his lymph nodes, his lung and abdomen. He will begin a new treatment of chemo beginning August 10th. Of course the statistics don't look good, but they are just statistics. We know our God heals every day! Our goal with the chemo is to reduce all the tumors in size and prevent the lymph nodes from producing more. A friend of mine sent me the email below that is a prayer for healing with novena intentions for 9 consecutive days (Aug. 15- Aug. 23). We would like for everyone if possible to participate in the prayer daily from where ever they are. It is very powerful. If you are not catholic and would like to pray in your own way to God, that is greatly appreciated as well...as we all serve the same good Lord above and He hears us all.

I know this may seem very bold in asking, but one Christian praying is of great effect, and when two or more are gathered together...it is evident that there is amazing arithmetic about prayer. In Deuteronomy, Moses told the people of Israel, "One of you shall chase a thousand, but two of you shall chase ten thousand." Deut. 32:30 The Bible also says, "Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." Matthew 18:19-20

Shannon and our family would greatly appreciate any prayers and your participation in this prayer for healing August 15 through August 23. We are believing for a miracle!!! Our God likes to make the possible out of the impossible because HE can. Thank you and God Bless!
