Sexualy Abused

I was sexually abused when i was only 8yrs.i have tried praying and i just cant forgive myself because i kw that for me to forgive myself i will be able to heal and forgive the abuser,it sometimes just come to me and it hurts so much.i need prayers.

Dear M,
Sorry to hear about what you went through. We ask God who cleanses to touch you and make you whole and also give you a heart to forgive. We pray that Jesus Christ, the greatest example of a great forgiver, will reveal to you the power of forgiveness in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

We pray that God will also reveal to you that your past has no beareing of what you can be through Christ Jesus. Jeremiah 29:11 is God's will for you. Remember, for those that are in Christ, there is now no condemnation. Romans 8:1.

God is not asking you to forget what happened to you BUT you are being asked to realise that what is ahead of you is of greater importance, what is planned for you is greater - focus on these things...Philipians 3:13-14 4:8-9.

Be free - he whom the Son has set free is free indeed. John 8:36.
