Gratitude

Most of the prayers that I post online on other prayer sites are one of thankfulness. Yes, I have had cancer and on 8-4-09 had a mastectomy and thankfully was not a candidate for chemo. I am truly grateful for all that He has provided, daily, hourly, always. For it is He who provides all treatment and all healing whatever the form. I wish to point out the position that through the Grace of God people are even able to receive the benefit of insurance and the benefit of all treatments received for cancer and other illnesses. There are those who are not so fortunate to receive these benefits. God deserves our greatest praise and our devotion, no matter how things look in our lives. I believe that to be in constant gratitude is a very high state of mind.
For myself, I live in a spiritual community and we work on basically surrendering ourselves as fully as possible to the Will of God. I believe that this is the true focus of our lives. Not only does it take us closer to Him but it will help us to heal from within. Prayer is such a great tool for this. May God Bless this website and may He Bless all who pray here and all who provide and maintain this website.
