Friend, Christian Prayer simply refers to when Christians communicate with God. Prayer is when one calls on God; this can be in various forms. This can be done silently (like in Hannah’s case 1 Samuel 1) or loudly as in (Elijah’s case 1 Kings18).
Christian Prayer can be directed to situations with faith in God that those situations will change. Ezekiel (Ezekiel 37) directed his prayer to dead bones. Jesus spoke to dead Lazarus (John 11) and God heard in all these instances. It may be recalled that Jesus spoke to the fig tree.
As indicated, Christian Prayers therefore can be silent, loud, accompanied by worship, aggressive or soft. The most important thing to realize is that it is God who will bring it to pass and it’s not of us. James says “the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much” James 5:16.
The fact that you are on this page of Christian Prayers is an indicator that you have a desire to prayer and I pray that God will pour His anointing of prayer over your life in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. May God anoint you with a spirit of worship, intercession, praise and prayer in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Finally, one of the great Christian Prayer warriors, Andrew Murray, once said "Prayers are deathless. The lips that uttered them may be closed to death, the heart that felt them may have ceased to beat, but the they live before God, and God’s heart is set on them and they outlive the lives of those who uttered them; they outlive a generation, outlive an age, outlive a world." May you be one that God finds to stand in the gap as a prayer warrior in Jesus Precious Name, Amen.
